Our most recent web 2.0 tool was Mixbook. Mixbook is an interactive book that you view or order from online. This was not my favorite tool because I'm more accustomed to Microsoft PowerPoint. Our assignment was to make a book about data selection. I embedded mine below along with definitions to help you understand it.
Our digital literacy component was learning about the benefits and risks of a personalized browsers. I prefer to have all the results so up, not what Google thinks I would like. Everyone has their own opinion, feel free to voice it in a comment! Benefits
- Saves time
- Better Shopping
- Easier searches
- Efficiency
Risks
- Can block needed/wanted things
- Create stereotypes
- Privacy issues
- Pop up ads or viruses
